The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) serves as the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with recruiting, assisting, funding, and electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. We provide services ranging from designing and helping execute field operations, to polling, creating radio and television commercials, fundraising, communications, and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and other groups from throughout the country.

Accounting Manager
Position Summary:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts; responsible for timely completion
- Responsible for general ledger reconciliations
- Responsible for outgoing wires and monitoring bank account(s) activity
- Serve as liaison with bank staff for banking activity
- Oversee and manage the Accounting Coordinator position
- Responsible for monthly Sales and Use Tax Reports
- Serve as backup for vouchering and check cutting process
- Prepare 1099’s and IRS transmittal(s)
- Responsible for new state registrations as required for committee payroll taxes
- Work with outside CPA on annual review, committee tax returns and committee asset tracking
- Monitor committee compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies
- Responsible for daily preparation of financial reports and statements
- Assist CFO with other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Working knowledge of standard payroll procedures
- Superior time management, planning and communications skills
- Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and work both independently and with other departments in accomplishing goals.

Campaign Managers
Position Summary
- Campaign Managers will be the point person for all major decisions made on the Congressional race;
- Campaign Managers will be in charge of formulating a winning message for their candidate that connects them with local voters, and draws a sharp contrast from his or her opponent;
- Campaign Managers will need to manage a multi-million dollar campaign budget;
- Campaign Managers will have to determine where to target limited resources;
- Campaign Managers will manage all aspects of the campaign – consultants, finance, press, field, research, new media, and FEC compliance.
Required Skills
- Candidate must be well-organized, professional, and punctual;
- Candidate must have to ability to delegate work to his or her team;
- Candidate must have strong writing and strong communications skills;
- Candidate must be willing to work long hours;
- Candidate must function well in collaborative and team-oriented work environments;
- Candidate must have previous campaign experience, ideally in a variety of positions within a campaign;
- Candidate must be able to function well in high-stress situations
